How do I have my jewelry repaired?

Repairs are covered (on us!) within 30 days of delivery. After 30 days, a repair fee of $30 will apply. Shipping both ways will be included in the repair fee.


NOTE: please allow up to three weeks for repairs. Promo codes not applicable for repairs. No exceptions.

What is 14K gold fill?

14k gold fill metal is composed of a solid layer of gold bonded with heat and pressure to a base metal core such as copper or brass. 14k gold fill pieces have 100 times more gold than gold plated jewelry and can hold their color for years with the proper care.

Does 14K gold fill tarnish? What about sterling silver?

In short, not much. 14k gold fill can last for years without showing significant signs of tarnishing if cared for properly. Sterling silver is much more prone to tarnishing and can be cleaned with a polishing cloth or mild soap/warm water.

Can I wear my jewelry in the shower or the pool?

In short, yes, our gold filled pieces have a lot more durability and will last you much longer than any plated jewelry.


We recommend avoiding frequently swimming with it as chlorine and salt water can cause some damage over time. If you do wear it swimming we would recommend rinsing it with plain water to wash away the salt & chlorine.

What is my ring size?

Use String or floss to measure your ring size from home!

• Take the string or floss and wrap it around the base of your finger, marking where the string or floss first overlaps with a pen. Then, use a ruler to measure the length of the string or floss in millimeters.


• For women, common sizes are as follows: 6 (16.5 mm), 6.5 (16.9 mm), and 7 (17.3 mm). For men, the most common sizes are as follows: 10 (19.8 mm), 10.5 (20.2 mm), and 11 (20.6 mm)

How should I clean my jewelry?

We suggest a standard jewelry polishing cloth or scrubbing gently with an old toothbrush and mild soap/warm
water.

Please note that the cleaning process stated above does not apply to any plated jewelry pieces. Using a polishing cloth can rub away at the plating, therefore we recommend just rubbing gently with lukewarm water.

To preserve your jewelry, always remove it before swimming (oceans and pools aren't our best friends!) and store in an air tight plastic bag when not being worn.

Do you do custom designs?

Yes! We love working on custom orders. Send us an email if you want a different length, clasp, ear wire, etc. or have a custom design in mind and we’ll do our best to accommodate.

Variation in stones

Due to the natural variation in semi-precious stones, each piece is unique and may vary slightly from the image shown. We hand pick each stone so we do our best to make sure each and every one is flawless.

How are orders packaged?

Each piece is individually packaged and sent in a branded + cushioned white jewelry box inside of a USPS small flat rate priority mailer. Our jewelry boxes are made from 100% recycled materials in the United States.

How does San Diego local pick up work?

A team member will reach out to you within 3 business days regarding your order and details of the pickup. Pickup is at our office located in Mission Gorge, 92120. Our office hours are Monday-Friday from 10am-5pm. 

Where is my order?

When your order is shipped, you will receive a notification via email with the tracking number. 


Please note: Any orders with personalized pieces or customizations may take up to three weeks. If an item is in stock, we will try our best to ship it out right away!

How do I purchase my item as a gift?

At checkout, please check the box “this order contains a gift” so our packaging team can ensure it gets sent out correctly. When purchasing a gift, you will have the option to include a gift message at checkout. This message is hand written on our gift notes (please keep your message short and sweet). Prices will not be included on the invoices sent in the package. The gift box will be wrapped with a ribbon! Ribbon color varies depending on season

What is your return policy?

Due to the made to order nature of our jewelry, all sales are final. We unfortunately do not accept any returns. If your order arrives damaged or we made a mistake, please contact us at orders@setandstones.com within 7 days of delivery.

Oops, I need to cancel my order

After 24 hours, we are unable to cancel orders as our team has moved them into production.
